6 Wheeler Fun at Grandma & Pop's

I have decided that the best way to get Vivian to sleep at night is to wear her completely out (without wearing myself out) - so it was off to Grandma & Pops for a visit. We started out swinging on the porch swing with Grandma and then decided to ride around on the 6 Wheeler with Pop.

This is definitely the way to travel around the farm. Sassy (the German Shepherd) is Vivian's main focus on the trip. She loves watching her run around. We went to check on the cows and Vivian was not a bit scared to get up close - which is more than I can say for the dog who got on the 6 Wheeler at that point and stood on the floor board at our feet until we drove through the cows (she is really scared of the cows - she prefers checking on them from a distance).

Sorry for the lack of action photos to document it, but I had to focus on holding onto the baby.

Although not truly action shots, these photos were somewhat of a challenge - notice how no one in this picture bothered to even look at the camera.

Here is Vivian's new serious face - she is intense.

And I have a feeling that this look will not be nearly as cute in a little over 14 years when she is driving for real.

Anyhow - it appears the plan worked. Vivian came home, had her bottle, and went to bed. I hope she has a good night. And I hope that all you Moms working through sleeping issues have a good night too.

Can't say it enough~~she is one beautiful baby and I am really enjoying "watching" her grow up. Thanks, Carrie, for being there for Canuck! Love
